Dean Ramos of Science elected vice-president of Philippine biology teachers’ association

, Dean of the  and faculty member of the , was elected National Vice-President of the Biology Teachers’ Association (BioTA) during its convention held from April 6-8, 2017.

Ramos, who holds a doctorate degree in molecular biology from the National University of Singapore, will serve as VP from May 2017 – April 2019. He was previously the President of the Philippine Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and is a member of the Technical Committee on Biology of the Commission on Higher Education.
